DINING INNOVATION NOMINEE

Willow Valley Communities

Willow Valley Communities, a premier 55-plus community in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has an almost-40-year tradition of excellence in senior living. Residents from 40 states across the nation have moved to Willow Valley Communities and enjoy an extraordinary lifestyle with hospitality and serve as its cornerstone. The Plaza at Manor offers a diverse range of culinary options to satisfy every palate and every mood. Residents decide how they want to order and how they want to be served. Residents choose from full-service menu dining, grab & go, dine-in, or order-to-go and pick up from temperature-controlled food lockers. They can also order from a tablet at each table and have their meals served personally. The Plaza at Manor is the most recent example of Willow Valley Communities’ long-standing tradition of innovation in senior living. Rather than looking to market research – like most others, Willow Valley Communities relies on its expert ability to be keen observers of how people want to live. Their philosophy of ageless marketing is summed up by the statement: “We don’t build for seniors; we build for people.”
