Arbol Residence of Santa Rosa

Situated in the beautiful rolling hills of Northern California, the Arbol Residences of Santa Rosa provides a continuum of care to residents. With ambitious goals of improving functionality, creating a hospitality atmosphere, and enhancing the “sense of arrival” for individuals entering the building, the community initiated a renovation of the lobby area.

A hospitality atmosphere was created by employing sophisticated finishes and a color palette that connects to the surrounding area. A mix of neutral finishes and warm wood tones with pops of sunny yellow and ocean blues captures the California spirit. The high-contrast colors and materials bring a balanced mix of modern and mid-century elements to the spaces. The overall design intentionally had a minimal impact on the existing ceiling/soffit locations and incorporated existing details like the crown molding.  This helped to seamlessly transition from newly renovated areas to existing spaces. Strong geometric patterns, marble, and brass accents were incorporated throughout the first floor. New light fixtures make the space brighter, more welcoming, and safer for the residents. The art package inspired by local topography brings a burst of energy to the spaces. There are beautiful details to be discovered everywhere you look!
