Avery point
Avery Point is a vibrant 94 acre continuing care retirement community nestled in the Virginia foothills, flanked on two sides by Tuckahoe Creek. The campus, when complete, will encompass 2 million square feet, providing 1,200 independent living units and a dedicated care center facility. Phase 1, completed in October 2022, features 218 independent living apartments dedicated to residents aged 62 and above, and 43,000 square feet of amenity space. Avery Point offers a richly diverse lifestyle with a range of amenities aimed at keeping residents active and engaged. The Emerson Square Community Building is themed around Wellness. Residents are provided with an indoor pool and hot tub, complemented by a state-of-the-art fitness center, personal training studio, and fitness lounge. Walking trails wind through the wooded site and connect exterior amenities such as the community gardens, pickleball courts, and dog park.
A cozy and inviting atmosphere in front of the fireplace provides a business center for residents that want to work or study in a quiet environment. The Living Room contains a two-sided fireplace with ample lounge seating and cards tables.
Residents have access to a variety of dining venues, each showcasing a unique ambiance and evolving menus catering to diverse culinary preferences. Three distinct dining venues are provided in the first phase of construction with a planned total of eight for the entire campus.
