With a mission to provide all-inclusive, affordable senior housing, this assisted living community renovation provides a beautiful offering to an underserved area according to local constituents. The Bridges of Hendricks Creek, located in Tarboro, North Carolina, exudes an engaging environment filled with friendships and endless entertainment. Seniors thrive in this revitalized and vibrant community created to make the golden years worry and stress-free.
Centered between Indian Lakes Sports Complex and Indian Lake Park, and built adjacent to the local healthcare system, the community sits upon an ideal and expansive greenway of property. Residents are able to enjoy little league games, walking paths and sunshine right outside their front door. Upon entering the community, residents and guests are greeted with warmth both from staff as well as exuded by the expansive, artfully designed interior. With a variety of daily entertainment, you may be met with the sounds of piano-accompanied show tunes sung by talented local volunteers, happy hour with lofty candy-bettings over winning hands of poker, or perhaps enjoy the tasteful artistry our wine & design time offers in the activity and arts studio.

Through expansive windows flooding the community with light, earthy materials and finishings, and mood-enhancing color palette, we brought the outside in. With ample space to roam, we created an environment that encourages residents to soak up the sun, enjoy nature and breathe in surrounding beauty.
The temperate California climate also encourages an indoor/outdoor lifestyle, inspiring our members to enjoy
outdoor dining and lounging next to the fireplace in our courtyard.

Although elements such as a salon, theatre, and spa were included, the most important feature of our community is our network of volunteers, contributors, healthcare partners and neighbors that provide friendships, pet therapy, entertainment and love, making our community feel like family and home.
