Woodside Village
Situated on nine hectares in the sought-after Cape Town suburb of Rondebosch, Woodside Village welcomed its first residents in April 1996. Over the years Woodside has earned the reputation as a successful and well-run continuing care retirement community (CCRC). Auria Senior Living acquired a majority interest in Woodside Village in February 2021 and have been renovating, refurbishing and redeveloping this charming community to match the design and hospitality standards of the other Auria Senior Living communities. As part of this process, existing facilities have been upgraded, and new ones added. Driven by Auria’s holistic, person-centered approach, Woodside Village offers a continuum of care within an environment that supports physical, mental and emotional wellness together with opportunities for social interaction and recreation, both within the CCRC and the community. The comprehensive offering at Woodside Village is of significant benefit both to residents and the surrounding community.
Within the building, more natural light was introduced wherever possible and new, natural finishes were introduced. The result is a series of areas that are easy to navigate, open plan, facilitating social interaction allowing residents to spend more time with family and friends.
An Auria Senior Living community offers a range of independent and assisted living options in environments created to enhance convenience, social life and wellness.
A new activities room, bridge club and billiards room have been included in the upstairs area. A cinema, indoor swimming, library and wellness centre with a physical therapist and biokineticist are all conveniently located for guests to enjoy.
