Partners In Care Hospice House
The new Partners In Care Hospice House is a much-anticipated addition to the community in Central Oregon, and brings a unique, needed service to the region. It is the only inpatient hospice facility east of the Cascades in Oregon and one of only three facilities in the state offering similar support. Hospice House offers inpatient hospice care for patients whose symptoms cannot be adequately managed in their home as well as respite care for family caregivers needing relief, and promises a place of continual support and comfort in a home-like atmosphere. The facility’s goal is to be an “oasis of tranquility” for end-of-life care.
The vision for Partners In Care Hospice House was to provide an urban oasis that reinforces and preserves the dignity of patients as they complete their life journey. At Hospice House, family members can focus on being present with their loved one during this difficult transition while experienced staff offer appropriate care and support. The contemporary building is designed to bring respite and peace.
A contemporary building designed to bring respite and peace, and to emulate a spa more than a hospital in a peaceful, home-like atmosphere. Design intent was to blur the line between indoors and outdoors, reflecting the diverse aspects of Central Oregon’s natural and urban environment.
The facility creates a special place that supports the connection between patients and their loved ones as well as patients to their environment. Opportunities for respite are numerous and diverse and every detail is attended to by experienced staff.
Amenities include 12 patient suites (including suites for bariatric patients, pediatric patients, and a double suite for couples), spa, garden and play areas, chapel, sitting room, activity room, great room, family kitchenette, pet park, commercial kitchen, clinical stations, and admin offices.
