Revel Scottsdale has a modern Southwestern design, harmonizing with the surrounding landscape while catering to the needs of its residents. Comprising 159 units, including cottages, the development focuses on independent senior living fostering an active and social lifestyle. Architectural quality stands at the forefront of this endeavor, incorporating diverse desert-appropriate textures, colors, and finishes. Employing stucco, metal accents, insulated glazing, and metal shade canopies, the structures embrace the essence of the Southwest. Beyond aesthetics, the architecture utilizes solar shading and overhangs, creating outdoor living spaces that embrace the desert’s allure. These design choices evoke a sense of place and integrate within the neighborhood fabric. Nestled amidst neighborhoods and numerous commercial and recreational amenities, the community promotes walkability and pedestrian circulation. Access to the Indian Bend Wash and Arizona Canal further encourages recreational pursuits and fitness activities. This interplay between architecture, nature, and community fosters a distinctive atmosphere that enriches the overall quality of life where residents can engage with the natural surroundings. Sustainability features are integral to the project’s design. The choice of materials and finishes, coupled with the incorporation of solar shading, aligns with environmentally conscious principles. The project’s interior palette is warm woods, high contrast black and white, textural stones and fabrics, local artwork, and an interior plantscape to bring the outdoors in. The design was intended to be more Avant Garde than a typical modern desert aesthetic, while still feeling indigenous to the southwest locale. Sustainability and energy efficiency are paramount considerations, evidenced by the integration of natural architectural elements that provide solar shading overhangs and celebrate the Southwestern climate while establishing outdoor living spaces, recreational amenities, and communal gathering spots for residents.
Fresh flavors and abundant choices are available daily in one of the many dining spaces available at Revel Scottsdale – Ovation, a modern-American restaurant, or The Social Club, a spirited pub serving fresh baked pizzas. Here, residents enjoy made-from-scratch, seasonal menus cooked to order, and exceptional service.
