The Hacienda Mission San Luis Rey is a 256,000 square-foot senior living community with 213 apartments including senior living, assisted living and memory care. This is the second California project between Oppidan and Watermark Retirement Communities. It is uniquely positioned on the grounds of the Mission San Luis Rey, the most prosperous of the California Missions. This stunning community, designed to fit the Spanish architectural style of the Mission itself, boasts several amenities including an outdoor pool, pickleball court, several dining venues, a piano lounge, fitness center and yoga room, salon and wellness lounge, art studio and several outdoor spaces for enjoying the southern California weather. Another unique amenity is that The Hacienda has 10 apartments and a private lounge for former Friar’s of the Mission.

A double sided fireplace and rich woodwork serve as the focal points of the stunning library. There are several lounge spaces located throughout the community for residents to gather and enjoy.

Many units also feature patios or balconies, in unit laundry, 10′ ceilings and other high-amenities. Assisted Living units feature the same level of finish as the IL units, but with smaller kitchens. They are available in a variety of floor plans and sizes. Memory Care studios feature LVP throughout, 10′ ceilings, spacious bathrooms and ample storage all within a secure environment.
Residents can enjoy a myriad of dining options. The Memory Care (MC) dining space provides a calm and intimate environment for meal time and activities. This earthy room is connected to the AL courtyard and the Season’s Assisted Living (AL) dining room.
