The Terraces at Via Verde was purposefully built for memory care. Situated on 1.2 scenic acres, every detail of its construction was with the intention of providing the highest quality care to its residents. It is staffed and dedicated to the daily care and medical needs of those with Mild Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimer’s and Dementia related illnesses. The Terraces proudly provides compassionate care for families of San Dimas, La Verne, Covina, West Covina, Glendora and Claremont in Southern California. The owners of The Terraces, Advocacy Development Partners, saw a need and opportunity for a best-in-class luxury memory care facility in the San Dimas area. The facility is divided into unique neighborhoods. Each neighborhood of 25-30 residents has direct access to a beautiful secure outdoor space, circular indoor walking path, ample natural lighting, large open concept great room, an activity room, integrated nurse call/delayed egress door systems and various resident room types.
The main lobby is elegant and contemporary in design with natural treatments of wood and stone. The reception desk is the focal point with its organic curvature, cylindrical lighting and large colorful landscape painting. While the outside has the beautiful and native Mission Revival elements, the interior design reflects best practices in memory care communities that have proven to provide the most comfort to its residents- functional spaces, restraint in abundance, and neutral colors. The Terraces interior checks all of these boxes while still incorporating some modern touches in elements like stone facades, lighting and cabinetry work.
The dining rooms on both levels are open and spacious. They feature similar interior accents seen in the living and reading areas. Modern, hidden uplighting fills the room along with large windows looking out into the courtyard. Just off of the dining room is a Bistro Kitchen with a bar and seating for three. Residents receive fresh Chef-prepared meals with restaurant style selections.
The resident rooms at The Terraces of Via Verde are tasteful, spacious and comfortable. They include neutral walls to promote calm and coordinate with any decor, extra large windows to bring in plenty of natural light and scenery, composite hardwood floors and full size bathrooms.
Anyone knows that a salon has to be unique in its look. The Terraces salon features a modern leather stylist chair, subway tile backsplash set atop a well-appointed deep gray wood workstation, blue brushstroke geometrical patterns underlay gold trimmed high art portraits, and a unique Spanish tile patterned chandelier set above the stylist chair. The activities room is where you’ll find communal seating for projects, games and other forms of entertainment or development.
