Trulee Evanston
Trulee Evanston offers an inspired and luxurious lifestyle with a decidedly urban vibe. The new 9-story, 163-unit building is clad in three colors of brick and limestone, and the contemporary yet traditional-to-Evanston exterior is complemented by modern and transitional interior design and merchandising. The interior design took inspiration from Evanston’s vibrant art murals with pops of aubergine and sapphire for a stylish twist, as well as men’s wear / suiting to bring a play of textures and interest into the neutral tones. The level 2 amenities were energized by corridors of interlocking curves allowing for a dynamic flow of circulation. Several local artists were commissioned for custom installations, which include the mural at the Fitness Center, the tactile resin wall at the Memory Care activity room, visually rich paintings with metallic accents at the Memory Care activity room, Chicago landmark paintings through the level 2 commons corridor, digital prints through the level 2 resident corridor, and mixed media paintings at the Penthouse bar. Trulee Evanston achieved LEED V4.0 Silver certification by fostering a respect and stewardship for the environment.
