Westminster St. Augustine, Southpointe is a model of thoughtful, forward-looking design that meets the evolving needs of today’s active adult while staying true to the values and character of its surrounding community. As the demand for more diverse independent living options grew, the Owner recognized that the existing offering of single-family and duplex Independent Living villas needed to expand. Instead of developing a large, dense building that would disrupt the landscape and neighboring views, the team introduced a mix of townhomes in the form of duplexes, triplexes, and quadplexes. This approach allowed Westminster to significantly increase independent living capacity while maintaining the scale, charm, and Florida-style stucco aesthetic that defines the campus. The new homes offer a refreshed, updated look that remains harmonious and complementary to the existing campus aesthetic, striking a thoughtful balance between familiarity and modern appeal. The community is thoughtfully planned as an extension of the existing campus, ensuring it feels integrated rather than disconnected.
