Inspired by great renaissance revival cities of Europe, with particular attention to the reconstruction of Paris by Baron Haussmann, this resort-style 332,000 SF, 6-story luxury Senior Living Community, complete with Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care, touts a grand Porte Cochere with gracefully curved Mansard Roof lines, charming Storefronts for Dining, Salon and Flower Shop, all reminiscent of the city streets of Paris nestled in the heart of Buckhead.
The biggest design challenge for the team for this hospitality-inspired Senior Living Community was to keep the floorplan open and free-flowing while encircling the two internal courtyards in order to create a scaled-down “city” environment while maximizing natural light and views. The team worked closely together on the layout of the units and amenity spaces that were thoughtfully distributed to maximize the views, and natural light and to create an ongoing experience uninterrupted by walls and doors. First-floor Residents that face the courtyards in city homes, have their own private gardens highlighted with gas lanterns. All other Residences have a sense of arrival as they enter their home with cheerful accent paint on the front door for wayfinding, and an exterior style sconce while enjoying views and full access to the courtyards and amenities that reiterate the “city” experience. The French influence is seen throughout from the exterior to the interior architectural details like the cast stone fireplaces, lighting and rustic hardwood-flooring to furniture selections, luxurious fabric, art, and accessories.
Throughout the community are cozy gathering spots where Residents can enjoy a good book in front of one of the grand Francois & Co cast stone fireplaces. The mix of custom Shaw carpet with the warm DuChateau hardwood flooring complement the French inspired fabrics, custom lighting and stunning custom art installation of delicate flowers meant to be blowing in the wind.
We believe food should inspire, connect, and nourish. This luxury community offers authentic and flavorful cuisine inspired by a chef-led rich culinary history and local favorites. Enjoy candle-lit dining under the impressive mansard ceiling with custom lighting while cozying up to the Francois & Co. cast stone fireplace or Al Fresco dining in one of the many courtyards complete with French-inspired water features.
