David Dillard is a Principal for Dallas-based D2 Architecture. David is a frequent panelist and presenter at industry forums and conventions including Leading Age, AIA, ULI, APA, and Environments for Aging. David holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Austin.

Dean Maddalena is President of StudioSIX5, a licensed architect, and a member of the American Institute of Architects, NCARB, IIDA and ASID. Dean has dedicated a large part of his 32-year career to the research and design of senior living environments. Dean has worked in all facets of senior design and for all levels of care throughout the United States. Dean holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Notre Dame, as well as a Masters in architecture from the University of Michigan.

Manny Gonzalez is the managing principal for KTGY’s Los Angeles office. He is responsible for the design, land planning and production of residential and mixed-use developments throughout the United States. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of California-Berkeley and earned his masters in architecture from the University of Southern California.

LuAnn’s passion for senior living interior design inspired her to launch a company exclusively dedicated to improving the quality of life for the aging population. LuAnn has over 25 years of experience in the senior living interior design space. Before founding Thoma-Holec Design, LuAnn held senior roles at MGA Interiors, Arizona AFLA and Leading Age. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in interior design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a certificate in gerontology from Arizona State University.

Danielle Lavallee is Director of Interior Design at Houston based Belmont Village Senior Living. Danielle holds a BA in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Tampa & a BFA in Art & Architectural History from Florida State University. In her role, she oversees all new construction and re-development projects and has robust design portfolio of senior living communities spanning across the country, integrating assisted living, independent living, and memory care all under one roof.

Thomas C. Levi

Thomas Levi is an Architect and Urban Designer with over 40 years of experience in design and planning. He currently serves as the Senior Principal-in-Charge of all healthcare and senior living projects in Levi + Wong Design Associates Portfolio. Thomas speaks nationally on Patient Centered Care, the Continuum of Care, technology integration with all levels of care, and the use of Virtual Design/BIM in the design and client communication processes.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from North Dakota State University and a masters of architecture in urban design from Harvard University.

Hurowitz joined the firm in 1988 and has led this company for the past two decades.
