INDEPENDENT LIVING

The Village At Rockville (Glenmere)

The Glenmere Expansion at The Village of Rockville is an infill residential complex constructed on five acres within an existing, decades-old, 31-acre senior housing community. New residents are moving here from affluent single-family homes, and it was critical to delivering an attractive aesthetic that would appeal to a more youthful, vibrant, and engaged target market.

The 305,000-SF project helps to reposition the existing CCRC in the market with two new residential towers (130 independent living apartments in a mix of one- and two-bedroom configurations). Also included are signature amenity spaces such as a clubhouse, spa, aquatic and wellness center, as well as hidden underground structured parking for 135 cars. Landscaped outdoor courtyards and interior connectivity to existing buildings add beauty and function.
