ASSISTED LIVING

Traditions of Lebanon

Lebanon, Ohio has shown a substantial increase in the more mature population accompanied with a market trend towards rentership after the age of 55 years old, further supporting the need for a senior living community such as this one. Traditions of Lebanon’s architecture and design has been skillfully developed with independent living cottages surrounding the perimeter of the main assisted living and memory care building. This forethought gives the residents the ability to age in place and fosters a feeling of home and community.

Nestled in the rolling hills of Lebanon boasts a sprawling single-story senior living community, Traditions of Lebanon. The building architecture was carefully crafted and designed to pay homage to the traditional homesteads that once sprinkled these farmlands. Traditional and modern design were purposefully interwoven by pallid lap sided facades contrasted by black shutters, undulating roof lines and tall cupolas. Walking paths throughout the entire neighborhood directly connect the cottages and the assisted living building. At the heart of the assisted living community, expansive centralized courtyards are accessible directly from resident units and the common areas. These courtyards are filled with greenspace, walking paths, rocking chairs and benches to nurture wellness and community connection.

This development provides Lebanon a new way of living for its senior residents. With the ability to age in place and remain the same neighborhood that is familiar and friendly offers a sense of security to many families. Traditions of Lebanon will remain a constant fixture within the city for many years to come.

As the city of Lebanon continues to grow, Traditions of Lebanon will continue to offer a sense of community and security for its residents and their families.

Situated along the treescape, a whitewashed building sits atop a hill. Its black shutters, tall cupolas and interrupting roof lines remind us of the traditional homesteads that sprinkled the farmlands. The architecture utilizes traditional materials in a modern approach.

The layout of the main building promotes destinations within the corridors, encouraging its residents to travel throughout the building and utilize the many amenities. Being a single-story facility connects all of the residents within a walkable distance gives feeling of comfort and security.

Walking paths throughout the community connecting the cottages with the assisted living community was pertinent in the design to integrate all residents. Connecting the club/theatre and dining space was crucial to hold large events with flexibility for small gatherings.
